Opening Times
The Friars is open 365 days a year and entry is free.
Chapels - The Chapels will be open from 9am - 4pm from October and until 5pm from April.
Mass Times:
Monday through to Saturday: 12 noon Mass in Choir Chapel
Sunday Mass: 10:15am in the Relic Chapel
Confession Times:
There is usually a priest available for confession on weekday mornings & afternoons however, please telephone reception on 01622-717272 to ensure that a priest is available.
No Confessions on Sundays
Morning & Evening Prayer in Choir Chapel:
(Please note - No Public Morning & Evening Prayer on Tuesdays)
8 am weekdays and 8:45am Sundays
Evening prayer: 6:30pm each day
Grounds - Open every day from 9am - 5:30pm
Tea Room -
January - March 10am - 3.30pm
April- October 10am - 5.00pm
October - December 10am - 3.30pm
Gift Shop -
January - March 10am - 3.30pm
April - October 10am - 5.00pm
October - December 10am - 3.30pm
These opening times will be reviewed and changed when needed.
Dogs in the grounds:
- Visually and hearing impaired visitors can be assisted by their guide and hearing dogs in the grounds. Regrettably no other dogs are allowed.
